John Cuthbert, the Curator of the West Virginia Collection, will give a short talk about early medicine in West Virginia, during the reception. We hope you will gather round to hear John's presentation.

The Pleasures of Autumn

Our clan, the clan of Mid-Atlantic health sciences librarians, gathers every autumn for reunion and professional growth activities. In October 2008, we gather in Morgantown, WV. We rejoice at the opportunity to enjoy colorful foliage and breath-taking mountain scenery, while visiting with old friends and meeting new ones. We are reminded to slow down and enjoy the journey! In this spirit, we offer some travel tips.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) Contest

Save a tree! In an effort to go green, the upcoming MAC-MLA meeting will not be furnishing conference bags to attendees (we have something else for you). So, start cleaning out your closets and office cubbyholes to find a previously used conference bag that you can bring to Morgantown and enter in our Bring Your Own Bag (BYOB) Contest.
