Class Information: Improving the Health, Safety, and Well-being of LGBT Populations

Upon completion of the course, each participant will receive 2.0 hours of continuing education credit awarded by the Medical Library Association. Certificates will be available electronically following completion of the online survey supplied after the class. Please note that MLA CE contact hours will remain active for 6 months after the presentation

Aimee Gogan, MLIS, AHIP is the Health Professional and Evaluation Coordinator at the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) Southeastern Atlantic Region (SEA), located in the Health Sciences and Human Services Library (HSHSL) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. At NNLM, Aimee is responsible for providing professional health information outreach and training to health professionals and those who work with them. She also conducts ongoing program assessment and evaluation to identify regional needs and opportunities for program development. Her areas of interest include health information literacy, critical librarianship, and medical humanities.
