- NLM Welcomes Applications to its Michael E. DeBakey Fellowship in the History of Medicine for 2021 – Applications due by September 25, 2020.
This Thursday, February 27, marks the first of NLM’s 2020 History Talks, featuring Katrin Schultheiss, PhD, of The George Washington University speaking on The Girl in the Lion Cage: Regulating Hypnotism in Nineteenth Century France. Read an interview with Dr. Schultheiss on our blog Circulating Now, join us onsite at NLM beginning at 2pm ET in the NLM Lister Hill Auditorium, or online via global livestream. - While plans for extensive renovation of the NLM physical space develop as part of its 2017-2027 strategic plan, the NLM History of Medicine Division remains committed to providing access to original collection materials as needed by scholars.
