News from the NLM History of Medicine Division

Greetings from the National Library of Medicine’s History of Medicine Division!

Two recent news items involving the division will be of interest, if they have not already crossed your screen:

This Thursday, February 27, marks the first of NLM’s 2020 History Talks, featuring Katrin Schultheiss, PhD, of The George Washington University speaking on The Girl in the Lion Cage: Regulating Hypnotism in Nineteenth Century France. Read an interview with Dr. Schultheiss on our blog Circulating Now, join us onsite at NLM beginning at 2pm ET in the NLM Lister Hill Auditorium, or online via global livestream.
