Consider attending the VisualDx technology showcase on Monday, May 21st from 1:30-2pm. DermExpert, the new iOS app from VisualDx can analyze an image of a skin complaint and recognize the type of lesion to aid the physical exam at the point of care. We’re going to demonstrate DermExpert and tell the story of how our image collection learned to think. If you work in data management, DermExpert is a good working example of how strict data standards and good data management practices can be used for machine learning.
