Call for Contestants: My Favorite Tool Session – 2019 MLA Annual Meeting and Conference
We invite you to be a contestant in the, “My Favorite Tool,” session at the 2019 Medical Library Association Annual Meeting and Conference in Chicago, Illinois!
What do contestants get by participating?
An opportunity (aka challenge) to talk about your favorite tool in 3 minutes. Contestants may not use PowerPoints, Keynote, or any other presentation tool or software program.

We strongly encourage you to present on a new tool, because it makes the experience more informative and fun for everyone! 2018 My Favorite Tool contestants must present on a new tool.
What makes this session different?
- Four cash prizes (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Fan Favorite – new in 2019) are awarded!
- Immediate feedback is provided by both experienced judges and audience members.
- It is unconventional, fast-paced, informative, and we hope fun for everyone.
- Unlike with other MLA sessions, plan to arrive on time or early – because we are strict with timing!
