Call for Nominations: McClure Excellence in Education Award
Hello everyone,
The year 2020 has been full of uncertainties, challenges, opportunities,… and many of our colleagues have made sustained and outstanding contributions to the profession and are deserving of recognition. Please consider nominating a librarian colleague or yourself for The Lucretia W. McClure Excellence in Education Award . The award is named after Lucretia McClure, one of MLA’s most respected members, and honors outstanding practicing librarians or library educators in the field of health sciences librarianship and informatics, who demonstrate skills in one or more of the following areas: teaching, curriculum development, mentoring, research, or leadership in education at local, regional, or national levels. You can learn more about Lucretia McClure in the MLA Oral Histories.
Nominations are due to MLA by November 1, 2020 by 11:59 pm. Please visit the Lucretia W. McClure Excellence in Education Award section of MLANET for specific eligibility criteria, nomination requirements, and to access the online nomination form (MLA login is required) and select “2021 Lucretia W.
