The 2012 Program Committee invites you to connect with colleagues and friends by submitting a proposal for a paper or poster presentation. Help us define your connections!

Connect your words and phrases into a paper or poster proposal of no more than 300 words. We encourage you to use a structured format. (See http://research.mlanet.org/structured_abstract.html or http://www.scmla.org/abformat.htm for guidance.)

We recognize that not all topics will lend themselves to a structured format. Only paper posters can be accepted; we will not be able to accommodate electronic posters.

All abstracts for papers and posters will be peer reviewed and selected based upon the following criteria: originality and innovation, organization and clarity, relevance to the field and conference theme, and potential for improving services or practice.

Submit two copies. Include all authors and institutional affiliations on the first copy. The second copy will be used in a blind review process and should not include any specific information identifying authors or institutions.
Papers: Send your paper proposals to Priscilla Stephenson (priscilla.stephenson@gmail.com) and Beverly Murphy (beverly.murphy@duke.edu) by July 16, 2012. (Note: this is different date from poster submissions).

Posters: Send your poster proposals to Diana Cunningham (dcunningham757@gmail.com) and Helen-Ann Brown Epstein (habepstein@gmail.com) by August 1, 2012. (Note: date differs from paper submissions).
Poster and Paper Sessions will be held on Sunday, Oct. 14 and Monday, Oct. 15. At least one co-author must be registered for the meeting and present the paper or poster.

Hope to see you there!

Joey
