Call for Speaker Suggestions: Quad Chapter Meeting

In order to ensure that chapter members have a voice in the speaker selection process for the upcoming Quad Chapter meeting, we are conducting one final call for suggestions. If you are aware of any potential speakers we should consider, especially related to our theme of “Connections,” please don’t hesitate to submit your ideas. We need to approach and finalize speakers very soon, and appreciate your quickresponse.

Examples of the “Connections” theme might include:

•  Partnerships and increasing our visibility
•  Connecting with the curriculum
• Connecting with our bodies —biology, human genome
•   Electronic connections, including social media and devices
• Connecting with the past or the futureOther ideas about “Connections” and relevant speakers are welcome!

To share your suggestions, please forward this message to rachel.walden@vanderbilt.edu no later than Friday, February 17 with the following information:
-Name:
-Institution/Affiliation:
-Profession/Area of Expertise:
-Link to video of the suggested speaker (suggestions linking to videos for review will be given greater consideration):
-Is the recommendation for a keynote, panel, or other invited speaker?
-Why are you recommending this speaker?

Please also tell us anything else you think we should know, including personal connections you may have that would help in securing this speaker for our meeting.
