Call for Volunteers: MAC Website Administrator
Hello MAC members,
MAC is seeking a volunteer to serve as Website Administrator. The Website Administrator serves on the Communications Committee and is responsible for maintaining and managing the MAC website, helping ensure that the chapter has a current, effective, and reliable online presence.
This role is ideally suited for someone who can make a multi-year commitment and provide continuity for MAC’s web operations.
Desired skills and experience include:
Experience updating and maintaining websites
Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress and/or Wild Apricot
Ability to manage web content and keep information current
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with the Communications Committee and MAC leadership
Current priorities include:
- Maintaining MAC’s current web presence
- Supporting completion of the website transition to Wild Apricot
- Ensuring members have access to accurate and up-to-date information throughout the transition process
- Prior experience with WordPress or Wild Apricot is helpful but not required.Individuals who are willing to learn and can commit to the ongoing management of the website are encouraged to express interest.
This is an important role that supports communication, member engagement, and the chapter’s visibility.
