Consumer health articles wanted! January 19 deadline.

Do you have an interesting consumer health initiative or project taking place at your Library? Have you been spearheading innovative work with consumer health librarianship and want to let the world know it? We want to hear from you!

Consider submitting a brief article (200-400 words) to Consumer Connections, the electronic newsletter of the Consumer Health and Patient Information Section (CAPHIS) of the Medical Library Association. We are also seeking book reviews on consumer health related topics.

We are also looking for submissions for our new “Member Spotlight” column. Have you written a book, book chapter, or an article? Have you presented at a meeting, be it a podium or with a poster? Or are you just an awesome information professional involved in consumer health, or know someone else who is! Don’t be shy! Share you accomplishments and gain exposure!

We need submissions for the Winter 2018 issue! The deadline for the Winter 2018 issue of Consumer Connections is January 19, 2018. Submitting an article in Consumer Connections (a non-peer reviewed newsletter featuring case studies and practical advice) is a great and low key way to experience writing and publishing!
