Consumer Health Librarian of the Year Award – Applications due Nov 1

Do you know, or are you yourself, an outstanding librarian in the field of consumer health information services? Consider a nomination for the newly endowed MLA Consumer Health Librarian of the Year Award! This award recognizes excellence in this important segment of health information services for patients, caregivers and interested laypersons, by librarians providing innovative, collaborative programs and services. Minimum eligibility criteria include professional MLA membership, (two years membership in CAPHIS preferred), and five years continuous experience in health sciences libraries preceding the nomination.
