The University of Pittsburgh Health Sciences Library System (HSLS) invites applications for a Research and Instruction Librarian. HSLS is looking for a collaborative, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to join our team. This position has the flexibility to allow candidates to highlight unique skills or experiences to complement our existing services.

The main responsibilities of this position are to provide a broad range of research support and instruction services to faculty, staff and students in the schools of the health sciences, as well as University of Pittsburgh Medical Center residents and fellows. The librarian works closely with the University’s health sciences community to connect research and information needs with library resources and innovative services. The position also serves as co-liaison librarian to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). The position is part of the Research, Instruction and Clinical Information Services team and reports to the Associate Director of that department.
