Exploring Resource Access in the 21st Century (RA21)
Interested in surrounding yourself with DC area librarians and colleagues to discuss current aspects of Resource Access in the 21st Century (RA21)? In collaboration with American University Library, Springer Nature invites you to register today for a free one day summit exploring RA21 at American University on June 1st, 2018.
We are excited to begin the day with our keynote James King (Branch Chief and Information Architect at the NIH Library) followed by two interactive panels moderated by RA21 committee members, Laird Barrett (Digital Product Owner at Springer Nature) and Robert Kelshian (Director of Resource Access at American University).
The summit is appropriate for all library staff interested in resource authentication and access issues, it will not require a technical background.
Please join us on American University campus in Constitution Hall for a day filled with engaging speakers and interactive panel discussions. The day begins at 9:30 am with a continental breakfast. The program runs from 10:00 am until 3:30 pm. Lunch is included.
We look forward to you attending our Regional Summit in Washington, DC. Springer Nature Regional Summits are part of an ongoing effort to bring professional development opportunities to local librarians that may have limited travel budget for national conferences.
