Health Care Education Association Conference

An exciting opportunity is coming up to join your colleagues in Nashville, TN on October 23-25, 2019 at the Health Care Education Association (HCEA) Conference, “Striking a Chord: Creating Harmony in Patient Education”. The HCEA is a nationwide group of multidisciplinary health care professionals (nurses, librarians, physicians and advanced practice providers, program specialists and more) focused on improving healthcare outcomes through evidence-based patient and family education.

We have invited leaders in the field of health literacy and patient and family education from many respected institutions to speak to us on evidence based practice in creating health education processes and programs, technology in health education and the impact and outcomes of health literacy endeavors. Our speakers come from Vanderbilt, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Penn Medicine, the National Network of Libraries of Medicine and The Association of Communication in Healthcare, as well as many others.

The full agenda and more information about the conference can be found at hcea-info.org/conference. We hope to see you in Nashville! Early bird prices are in effect until Friday, September 6th, so act now!
