Job Announcement: Clinical Bioinformatics Informationist, New York, NY

The Samuel J. Wood Library at Weill Cornell Medicine seeks a highly motivated, flexible, bioinformaticist with doctorate level expertise in cancer genetics, to expand the support of the library bioinformatics service (LBS) to clinical bioinformatics and precision medicine.  The LBS currently provides training and analytical support to faculty, staff and students in research bioinformatics.  We seek a candidate with a proven academic track record, a passion for teaching, an ability to work comfortably with a variety of teams among ambiguous circumstances.

The mission of the library is to advance the art and science of medicine by providing innovative services and seamless access to information through outstanding customer service, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. This is a new position for our growing research services team, where we provide services which support cutting-edge research and development that complement the mission and strategic plan of Weill Cornell Medicine.
