JOB POSTING: American Board of Family Medicine Librarian, Research Triangle area, North Carolina

The American Board of Family Medicine seeks an experienced clinical librarian to assist in the development of a national journal article activity for its over 95,000 Diplomates. This position will be part of a team to lead the development of a national pilot, get cost-effective access to articles, design the IT interface for Diplomates and evaluate the project. The position will be based in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. The position will be an employee of the ABFM, but NC AHEC will be responsible for supporting this position, integrating the librarian into the AHEC Digital Library and the NC AHEC Information and the Library System statewide network of librarians. Clinical familiarity with evidence and broad-scope family medicine clinical services is desirable. Salary range $65-75,000, commensurate with experience, with excellent benefits, with national travel and professional development funded by ABFM.
