Job Posting: Clinical & Research Librarian (Mountain Area Health Education Center)
We are hiring a Clinical & Research Librarian at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in beautiful Asheville, NC!
In a dynamic, primarily virtual library environment, the librarian in this position provides innovative information services that facilitate the teaching, research, clinical care, and service mission of the organization. The individual will serve as part of a team that provides specialized information services for health and human service professionals throughout Western North Carolina and in support of MAHEC’s initiatives and clinics, residency and fellowship programs, and UNC Health Sciences at MAHEC’s programs.
Minimum qualifications include: A Master’s degree in Library & Information Sciences from an ALA-accredited program or an advanced degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in a healthcare setting or demonstrated knowledge of information resources in the health sciences. The ability to thrive in a complex and changing environment, by responding, adapting, and taking initiative. Commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment and a culture of respect.
This is a full-time position, and a hybrid schedule is encouraged.
Minimum salary of $53,700.
