Job Posting: Early Career Education Informationist
The University of Colorado Strauss Health Sciences Library (library.cuanschutz.edu) seeks resourceful, energetic and innovative candidates to join the team of professional, fun, creative, and flexible library staff. This early career position as an Education Informationist, is a non-tenure-track faculty position that primarily coordinates development, promotion, delivery, and assessment of library classes and trainings on the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus.
The Education Informationist will lead implementation of best pedagogical practices for graduate/faculty audiences and will spearhead the deployment and assessment of the suite of Strauss library classes and training.
With knowledge or experience of teaching and developing real-time and asynchronous instructional sessions for graduate students and faculty, both in-person and online, the Education Informationist supports other librarian educators in the development of library-related curriculum and classes.
Required: Master’s degree in library science. For current library students, Master’s degree must be earned by June 30, 2021.
Salary: $50,000-$56,000 maximum. Applications are due by December 28, 2020.
