Head of Library Research Services and Outreach
Full-time, remote position (Librarian IV or Librarian V)
Mayo Clinic Libraries
The Mayo Clinic Libraries seek an energetic and experienced librarian to join their fully integrated system of sixteen libraries. We are looking for a collaborative librarian with supervisory experience to lead a team of six librarians who primarily deliver research services, outreach, and instruction from remote working environments. As a remote supervisor, the Head of Library Research Services and Outreach will collaborate with Mayo Clinic supervisors and staff who are working both hybrid and fully onsite schedules to deliver library services and resources in Mayo Clinic’s academic, hospital, and patients’ libraries. This full-time, remote supervisory position is administered by Mayo Clinic Libraries in Rochester, Minnesota, and reports to the Executive Director of the Mayo Clinic Libraries and Historical Units. Qualified applicants living in the United States are encouraged to apply.
Allocation of time and responsibilities will vary based upon the expertise of the individual hired and focus of responsibilities during each year. For this new remote supervisory position, the time allocation is anticipated to be:
