Medical Librarian

Responsible for planning and organizing the operations of the Medical Library, and for developing and implementing services to ensure timely and appropriate information for Good Samaritan personnel and the Medical Staff.

Master’s Degree in Library Science is required.  1-2 years experience in a health care setting preferred.  Must be knowledgeable in computerized bibliographic retrieval systems, especially MEDLINE and have the ability to access the internet and to evaluate the information found there.  Good verbal and written communication skill required and have a commitment to serving the information needs of staff.  MLA certification desired.
