Job Posting: Research Impact Librarian position at NYU Health Sciences Library
The NYU Health Sciences Library is still accepting applications for a Research Impact Librarian! We are reviewing applications on a rolling basis, but priority will be given to applications received by this Friday March 10, 2023.
The Research Impact Librarian is a faculty appointment in the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and would be part of the collaborative and innovative Research Data and Metrics team. Interested candidates from outside the New York City area are encouraged to apply — flexible and remote work opportunities are negotiable.
The Research Impact Librarian will be responsible for providing and promoting existing bibliometric services and resources and developing new ones. The ideal candidate will be comfortable doing data cleaning, analysis, and visualization in at least one programming language, have a strong understanding of methodological and ethical best practices for measuring and disseminating research impact, and an understanding of the wide range of academic outputs and impact indicators.
Salary range is $75,000 to $85,000, and is commensurate with experience. The Health Sciences Library provides mentoring and support for research, scholarship and publication as part of our commitment to ongoing faculty professional development.
