Terminology Product Specialist – Terminology QA & User Services Unit, MEDLARS Management Section, Bibliographic Services Division

As an expert technical information specialist, the incumbent of this position will serve as a lead for activities related to the development and management of NLM terminology products and services, providing program oversight and coordination for systems development, quality assurance, and production efforts to provide the US Edition of SNOMED CT, the Unified Medical Language System (UMLS), and related NLM terminology products and services to users. The incumbent serves as an NLM representative and point-of-contact to stakeholder organizations, such as government agencies and national and international standards development organizations, coordinating NLM input into and participating on working groups with representatives from these organizations. The incumbent coordinates efforts of information technology and subject matter expert team members to provide user support, education, and documentation for NLM terminology products and services.
