MAC Buddies are needed to help new attendees to make waves in Ocean City, MD
Would you like to help a new MAC member or MLS student attending the MAC Annual Meeting for the first time?
If you are attending the conference in Ocean City, please consider volunteering to serve as mentor in the MAC Buddies program. Being a “Buddy” is a perfect opportunity to interact with a new librarian, new member, or a student interested in health sciences librarianship.
You will set up a time to meet with your mentee and answer questions they might have about attending a professional conference, involvement in MLA, and other professional activities. It is an excellent way to support our new members and aspiring librarians!
