MAC Buddy Mentors Needed

Would you like to meet and help a first time attendee at the MAC meeting?

Please consider volunteering to serve as mentor in the MAC Buddies program. The MAC Buddies program matches first time annual meeting attendees with seasoned members of MAC who will help the new member navigate the meeting and answer any questions they may have about the profession and MAC.  Additionally at this year’s MAC Meeting, we will be awarding several MLS students from the region with scholarships to attend the MAC Student Vision Program.

Mentors are needed to assist these students with any questions they may have about the meeting and the profession.  If you would like to volunteer to serve as a mentor for the MAC Buddies/Student Vision Program, please contact Ryan Harris, rharris@hshsl.umaryland.edu, 410-706-7996, by September 30.

Please let me know if you have a preference for working with a first time MAC attendee or a MLS Student. If you are a first time attendee and did not choose to be assigned a MAC Buddy mentor when registering for the meeting you can contact me as well and let me know you would like to be paired up with a mentor.
