Medical Librarian at Duquesne University

Get in on the ground floor of a new medical school!  

Duquesne University is seeking a Medical Librarian to support its new College of Osteopathic Medicine (DUQCOM). The position will start in 2023, and the first class of medical students will enroll in August 2024.  

DUQCOM will have a unique mission, training physicians to care for all people in all communities, including in underserved urban and rural communities. DUQCOM will seek to increase diversity in the medical profession and train physicians to reduce health care disparities. Medical students will learn in new, state of the art facilities, and be supported by an extensive collection of online resources. 

The Medical Librarian will play a critical role in helping DUQCOM get started, providing EBM instruction, library outreach, research support, and more. The successful candidate will join a supportive team of university librarians with many opportunities for collaboration and professional development.
