Medical Librarian–Podiatry Library, Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The Health Sciences Libraries at Temple University seek an enthusiastic, versatile and skilled librarian to serve at the Charles E. Krauz Library, School of Podiatric Medicine. This new position will provide reference, research, instruction and technology support to faculty, staff and students in the health sciences, with a special concentration in podiatry.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Medical Librarian – Podiatry will be responsible for a range of information services activities that support the mission and goals of the Temple University Health Sciences Center, with particular focus on the School of Podiatric Medicine (TUSPM). These activities include in-person and virtual reference services, support of new and emerging technologies, education programs and research consultation services. Provides instruction sessions on health sciences information resources (such as PubMed) to faculty, students and staff. Located primarily at the TUSPM library in the School of Podiatric Medicine, the librarian will also work as part of the larger cohort of health sciences librarians located at the Ginsburg Health Sciences Library. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
ALA-accredited Master’s degree in library/information science. Experience with MS Office and familiarity with both Macintosh and PC desktop machines.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:
*Experience providing reference in an academic health sciences library and/or hospital library environment.
*Experience with PubMed, Web of Science, CINAHL or other biomedical information search systems.
