Medical Library Association 2018 Conference submissions due October 10
The 2018 National Program Committee seeks abstracts for contributed content for the theme, “Adapting | Transforming | Leading.” The call for submissions http://www.mlanet.org/p/cm/ld/fid=1301 provides information on how to submit your abstract. You will rank how you prefer to present your content: paper, poster, or lightning talk.
The National Program Committee also invites proposals for special-content sessions. These are 1.5 hour long sessions. An “Open Forum” to organize ideas is available. Members interested in joining the discussion can find more information on the call for submissions. http://www.mlanet.org/p/cm/ld/fid=1301
Please specify whether your structured abstract is a research abstract or a program description abstract, as different criteria will be used to review the two kinds of abstracts. All criteria for both kinds of abstracts are available in the Papers and Posters FAQ http://www.mlanet.org/p/cm/ld/fid=1234. Keep in mind the following guidelines.
* Research abstracts report on designing, conducting, and analyzing a research project.
* Program description abstracts describe the creation and improvement of products, programs, technologies, administrative practices, or services conducted by librarians and information professionals.
Abstracts and proposals must be submitted using the online contributed content submission form https://www.conferenceabstracts.com/cfp2/login.asp?EventKey=QQNRRAAK. Submissions are due Tuesday, October 10, at 6:00 PM CST. Enter your submission early to avoid a last-minute rush and allow time for any needed assistance.
