New Librarians – Apply for Support to Attend MAC 2026!
If you are a new health sciences librarian, we invite you to apply for the MAC Conference Scholarship to support your attendance at this year’s virtual MAC Annual Meeting, October 19-21, 2026.
The deadline to apply is September 11, 2026.
- One scholarship will be awarded, and the selected recipient will receive:
- Complimentary conference registration
- One-year MAC-MLA membership
- Up to $100 reimbursement for professional development (e.g. books, courses)
To apply you must be:
- A MAC member with 5 or less years of post-MLS experience
- Currently employed in a medical or health science librarian position in the MAC-MLA region: District of Columbia, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania
- Willing to submit a one-page report detailing your experience and impression of the meeting to appear in MAC Messages Blog by December 14th, 2026.
- Committed to attend the entire meeting
