Position Announcement: Clinical Medical Librarian (Faculty, Tenure-Track) – Toledo, Ohio
The University of Toledo Mulford Health Science Library invites applications for a Clinical Medical Librarian. This position serves as the Mulford Library’s liaison to the College of Medicine and Life Sciences (COMLS). Liaison responsibilities include collaborating with COMLS faculty to improve information literacy, evidence-based medicine, and life-long learning skills development in the competency-based MD curriculum, including providing course-integrated instruction in courses as well as directing and teaching in the Library’s for-credit elective. In addition, this position participates in reference and information services at Mulford Library. This is a 12-month, tenure-track position in the University Libraries.
Required: A master’s of library/information science degree from an American Library Association–accredited program. Three years’ experience in medical/health science librarianship. Experience teaching and database searching.
Preferred: Degree in biology/health sciences. Membership in Academy of Health Information Professionals.
The salary minimum is $60,000, commensurate with qualifications.
