Reis ICS International Conference Travel Grant ($500) — Medical Library Association

Apply now: Travel Grant for librarians to attend an international health sciences conference. The Avraham Reis ICS International Conference Travel Grant recognizes a health sciences librarian and ICS member who is involved in international librarianship. The recipient receives a grant for $500 to be used for travel and conference-related expenses for attending an international health sciences library conference, such as IFLA, AHILA, or EAHIL. 

The Avraham Reis ICS Annual Meeting Grant celebrates the memory of longtime International Cooperation Section member Tovah Reis’s husband Avraham. This grant is offered annually in the spring to facilitate ICS member attendance at an international health sciences conference in the same calendar year. 

Any individual who meets the general ability requirements may apply. Recipients of the grant must become members of MLA and the International Cooperation Section, if they are not already members.

Applications must be received by April 19. Winners will be notified by April 26.
