Applications to NLM’s Michael E. DeBakey Fellowship in the History of Medicine for 2019: https://faes.org/content/michael-e-debakey-fellowship-history-medicine  are due by midnight EDT, Friday, September 28, 2018. The fellowship includes a stipend of up to $10,000 to support research in the historical collections of the NLM including but not limited to NLM’s collection of Michael E. DeBakey papers https://oculus.nlm.nih.gov/debakey582which encompass the diverse areas in which DeBakey made a lasting impact, such as surgery, medical education, and health care policy.
