Scholarly Communications Librarian

Robert B. Greenblatt, M.D. Library, Augusta University

Reporting to the Chair of Content Management, the Scholarly Communications Librarian will be responsible for planning, implementing, and leading outreach activities promoting the institutional repository and other scholarly communication initiatives to include issues related to intellectual property and open access of scholarly output at the University. This position will also provide a data management plan consultation service, research impact reports and participate in grant support for research faculty. The successful candidate will provide best practice standards in maintaining the University’s electronic theses and dissertations and coordinate efforts for new open access publications on campus.

Required: ALA-accredited master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years professional post-MLS experience or library equivalent experience

This position has faculty rank and status (non-tenure track).
