Vacancy announcement at the NIH Library – coming soon!

In mid-January there will be an announcement on USAJOBS.gov for the electronic resources librarian position, at the GS-12/13 position level. The position will be posted nationally under both Delegated Examining (open to all) and Merit Promotion (existing Federal employees) and may be posted for as little as five days. This brief posting period is because of the federal government’s interest in accelerating the hiring process and should not be interpreted as an indication that someone has already been selected. As part of the application process, it may be necessary to upload copies of degree transcripts. If interested in this position, you should have scanned copies of your transcripts ready to upload.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a leading federal library so please help us by sharing this announcement with colleagues who may be interested.

If you have any questions about the position, please contact James King, James King, Branch Chief of the Information Resources & Services Branch E-mail: James.King@nih.gov
