Call for MLA ’20 Continuing Education Course Proposals

The MLA Education Annual Programming Committee (EAPC) is looking for hot topics to offer as continuing education (CE) courses at MLA ’20. CE courses will be held on Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, 2020, in Portland, OR.
We invite you to submit a proposal and to share this call with colleagues.

CE courses support health sciences librarians and other information professionals in adapting to rapidly changing environments, transforming their collections and service models, and leading important new changes in education, research and librarianship.

Proposals must be submitted by March 1, 2019 for consideration by the EAPC. Submit the course proposal via MLANET. Make sure to select “Annual Meeting Course Proposal.” No fee is due to submit your course.

Be prepared to supply the following:

* Course title
* Short instructor biography and contact information
* Course description and teaser
* Intended Audience
* Course length
* Learning Outcomes
* Agenda
* Course competencies

If your course is selected, you will be notified by the EAPC in mid-June. You may be contacted before if the committee has questions. If you have questions about CE proposals, please contact Andrea Kepsel akepsel@msu.edu, EAPC liaison, 2020 National Program Committee.
