Call for Nominations for MAC MLA
The MAC Nominating Committee is seeking your suggestions for nominees for the 2024 elections for the following MAC offices:
- Chair Elect/Chair/Immediate Past Chair (three year term)
- Treasurer (three-year term)
- MAC Nominee to the MLA Nominating Committee (One year term)
- The winner of this MAC election is forwarded to MLA to be placed on the ballot for MLA’s Nominating Committee
- The MAC member elected to this position must be able to serve on the 2026 MLA Nominating Committee. Meetings of this committee are all virtual.
The slate will include two candidates for each office. If you would like to nominate someone as a potential candidate or if you would like to be considered yourself, please email the name of your candidate along with a brief justification of why this candidate should be considered, to Layla Heimlich (Layla.Heimlich@medstar.net), Chair, Nominating Committee.
The Committee will consider significant professional achievements, leadership experience, involvement in the association and vision for its future, as well as balance among our association’s geographic regions and from the various communities that represent the diversity of our membership.
The Committee will begin review of nominations on August 9, 2024, although nominations will be accepted until the slate is finalized.
