The Contributed Papers and Posters committees of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Medical Library Association (MLA) invite you to send your proposals for contributed papers and posters for the 2014 MAC MLA Annual Meeting in Alexandria, Virginia from October 19 through 22, 2014. Papers and posters may range from innovative program descriptions to reports on collaborative outreach activities to behind the scenes technology projects. All are encouraged to submit proposals and we hope to hear from librarians representing varied work settings from hospital libraries to academic libraries to special libraries to those not in traditional library roles. Contributed paper and poster topics are as unlimited as your imagination, talents, and creativity can devise. Take advantage of this opportunity to share your successes and challenges with your colleagues as we reflect on our 2014 theme, “From Old to New: Historic Foundations to Unimaginable Frontiers.”
There will be two contributed paper and three poster sessions:
- Contributed papers will be presented on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 9:15 am until 10:45 am.
- Poster sessions will be on Monday, October 20, 2014, 11:00 am to noon, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, and from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Each poster should have one person available during the session in which it is presented.
