Call for submissions: A new student-focused peer reviewed medical journal

If you work with medical students, residents, fellows, or graduate level students enrolled in an allied health program, please consider spreading the word about a new Open Access journal published by and for medical students in Camden, NJ. Currently, there are no article processing fees, articles are published online under a Creative Commons-BY 4.0 license, and accepted articles are indexed in Google Scholar. Applications to be included in additional indices such as the Directory of Open Access journals will be submitted in the future. Students are also invited to serve as peer reviewers: https://rdw.rowan.edu/crjcsm/reviewforcrmj.html.

Now taking submissions for a new peer-reviewed journal launched by Cooper Medical School of Rowan University MD students and medical school faculty. The Cooper Rowan Medical Journal (CRMJ) is an open-access, student and faculty co-managed, peer-reviewed journal showcasing scholarly activity by medical students, allied health care students, and residents/fellows.

CRMJ welcomes original research, reviews, medical education studies, case reports/series, perspectives, and results of quality improvement projects.

The scope of this journal includes all student and resident/fellow authored biomedical and health-related research. CRMJ also welcomes articles that investigate a disease, condition, treatment, or policy that tends to impact medically underserved patients. As we intend to interpret our scope broadly, we encourage anyone who is interested in submitting an article to contact us (CRJCSM@rowan.edu) to inquire about fit within our mission and scope.

Articles published in CRMJ are indexed in Google Scholar. We intend on increasing the number of journal indices we are included in the future. Please consult the journal’s webpage for more more information: http://rdw.rowan.edu/crjcsm.
