Stanford Medicine is seeking a motivated and resourceful Research and Instruction Services Manager (Librarian 3) to lead a team of library staff in support of the education and research initiatives of Stanford Medicine. Reporting to the Director, Research and Academic Collaboration, the Manager, Research and Instruction Services oversees the day-to-day operations of the Research and Instruction Unit, the Lane Liaison program and research data and literature review support services.
The Manager actively collaborates with all units of the Library to improve processes and services. They are responsible for the evaluation and assessment of services related to outreach and instruction and for developing and implementing new programs to meet the demands of faculty, students, and staff in supporting their clinical and research needs.
As part of the Research and Instruction team, the manager engages in activities comparable to other librarians in the unit by providing research consultations; developing portals and web pages to facilitate user access to resources; offering orientations and instructional sessions; serving as a liaison to key clinical and research departments or centers and well as performing literature searches, advising on data management plans, and/or collaborating on systematic reviews.

The expected pay range for this position is $98K to $115K per annum.
