Job Summary

The Senior Librarian assists the Director of Library Services in implementing, marketing, and evaluating library programs and services. This includes reference service, instruction, document delivery, cataloging, collection management, and providing support for library technologies. In the absence of the Director of Library Services acts as the representative for the department.

Education

Masters Degree : in Library and Information Science (MLS, MSLS) from an ALA accredited program (Required)

Experience

5 Years experience working in an academic or health sciences library (Required)

General Experience in a supervisory role (Preferred)

General Experience and extensive knowledge with bibliographic management software EndNote (Preferred)
