Our user population is comprised of scientists, physicians, nurses, fellows, graduate students and rotating residents and medical students from other Philadelphia institutions. The Senior Librarian assists the Director of Library Services in implementing, marketing, and evaluating library programs and services. This includes reference service, instruction, document delivery, cataloging, collection management, and providing support for library technologies. In the absence of the Director of Library Services acts as the representative for the department.
Masters Degree : in Library and Information Science (MLS, MSLS) from an ALA accredited program (Required)
5 Years experience working in an academic or health sciences library (Required)
General Experience in a supervisory role (Preferred)
General Experience and extensive knowledge with bibliographic management software EndNote (Preferred)
