MAC Research & Assessment Committee (MAC RAC) Motivates You to Present at MAC 2015
The MAC/MLA Research & Assessment Committee (MAC RAC) wants to provide a little extra motivation for you to “Find Your Inspiration” for sharing your research with your colleagues.
At previous annual meetings, the MAC RAC has evaluated and recognized papers and posters for their excellence in research. However, at the 2015 MACMLA Annual Meeting in Asheville, MAC RAC is proud to announce that it will be awarding cash prizes for the top three poster and paper presentations. In addition to cash prizes, presenters also will receive certificates recognizing their achievement.
The prizes are as follows:
Recognized Papers for Excellence in Research:
- 1st Prize: $200, and a certificate recognizing the achievement
- 2nd Prize: $150, and a certificate recognizing the achievement
- Honorable Mention: Certificate recognizing the achievement
Recognized Posters for Excellence in Research:
- 1st Prize: $100, and a certificate recognizing the achievement
- 2nd Prize: $50, and a certificate recognizing the achievement
- Honorable Mention: Certificate recognizing the achievement
The 2015 MACMLA Annual Meeting call for proposals has gone out, and submissions are due by Friday, June 5th. While the call for proposals welcomes presentations that are not research based, please note that only presentations concerning research will be eligible for recognition.
