*From Idea to Reality: How to Successfully Plan and Promote Library Events
Thursday, October 11, 1:00 p.m.–2:30 p.m., (central time)

How do you get patrons to attend library events when your library is mostly digital and your users ignore emails, flyers, and social media? The webinar presenters built their
library’s public services from the ground up, with little money and lots of
creativity. They will show you how!

Register here.

You will learn how to take an idea (maybe even a “crazy” one) for library
programming and confidently turn it into a successful event. You will learn
how to accomplish all aspects of planning and promoting library events,
from brainstorming creative programming, creating a cohesive library brand,
using a promotional scheduling tool, and identifying users and best methods
of reaching them to planning and assessing snag-free events. You will leave
this engaging and interactive webinar with a draft promotional plan for an
event or service to host at your library
