MLA’s Book Publishing Program Seeks Your Input – deadline extended to April 5th

Did you know that MLA publishes books with partner publisher Rowman & Littlefield?  The MLA Books Panel works with Rowman & Littlefield to develop titles for a health sciences information audience.

The Books Panel would like to hear from you about titles already published and what topics should be developed into new books. Please complete a brief survey on your satisfaction with our current offerings, best ways to get the word out about new publications, and your ideas for new titles.

To see a complete list of available MLA book titles check the MLA Books page on MLANET. Recently released titles include Searching the Grey Literature by Sarah Bonato, The Medical Library Association Guide to Developing Consumer Health Collections by Claire B. Joseph and Transforming Medical Library Staff for the 21st Century by Melanie J. Norton and Nathan Rupp. Members receive a 10% discount on titles purchased. 25 titles published before 2014 are available as free e-books to MLA members.

If you are interested in writing or editing a book for MLA, please visit our Publish a Book with MLA page to learn how to submit a proposal.

Please complete the survey by April 5!
