This year the 2012 MLA Quad Chapter Program Committee is providing an opportunity for everyone to participate in this year’s meeting by bringing or sending a children’s book to Baltimore, with assistance from a colleague that is attending the conference.

Your donation will help promote reading in the local community.

We have “connected” with the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office to identify recipients of your book donation.  Your book selection should be suitable for PreK – 5^th grade.

It would be a very nice gesture to include a personal note to encourage the young reader who receives your book.

All books will be collected following the Closing Presentation on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, http://www.hshsl.umaryland.edu/quad2012/schedule.cfm#1016.
