REMINDER: Nominate a Colleague for MAC Award by August 31, 2021
Hello all,
The sun is bright, so are our MAC dedicated members! Please consider nominating your outstanding MAC colleagues who have gone above and beyond and have shown leadership or initiative in the health and medical librarianship for any of the following awards:
- MAC Award for Professional Excellence by a Health Sciences Librarian
- MAC Award for Professional Excellence by a New Health Sciences Librarian
- MAC Award for Outstanding Health Sciences Library Paraprofessional
- Marguerite Abel Service Recognition Award
Members may also self-nominate for any of the awards with a letter of support from a supervisor or a colleague.
Criteria for the awards can be accessed at https://macmla.org/awards/.
Colleagues who submit a nomination will be entered in a drawing for a free one-year MAC membership.
The deadline for submitting nominations is August 31, 2021.
A plaque and a cash award of $250.00 will be awarded to the recipients. Awards will be presented at the business meeting during the virtual MAC Annual Meeting on October 25-27, 2021.
