Call for Volunteers: MLA’s 2019 Annual Meeting in Chicago (May 3-8)
Hello, everyone!
As you may know, MLA’s annual meeting will be in Chicago this year, from May 3-8, and we are recruiting volunteers to stuff meeting bags, monitor the Career Planning Center, and staff the Hospitality booth.
Non-MLA members who volunteer for a minimum of four hours will receive a free day pass, which grants access to all non-ticketed exhibits and sessions.
Interested? Follow the links below to volunteer:
- May 2, 1-4pm: Bag stuffing: Prepare meeting bags for MLA attendees, and enjoy a tasty lunch.
- May 3 – 8: Hospitality Booth (2 – 3 hour shifts): Answer questions about the conference and local amenities. You don’t have to be a Chicago expert!
- May 4 – 7: Career Planning Center (2 – 3 hour shifts): Monitor the career planning center. Bring a book to help pass the time!
Best,
Corinne Miller (Volunteer Assistance chair) & Jeanne Link (Hospitality Information Booth chair)
