Position Title: Coordinator of the Learning Resource Center

The J. W. England Library welcomes applications for a 12-month permanent faculty position in the Department of Information Science to serve as the Coordinator of the Learning Resource Center

POSTION REQUIREMENTS
–Master’s degree in relevant field; MLS from ALA accredited institution preferred.
–3 years of pertinent experience
–Supervisory experience

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
As Coordinator of the Learning Resource Center:

–Be responsible for timely operation of all audiovisual and instructional technology systems distributed across the campus.
–Supervise three staff members and 25 student workers.
–Manage budget and software/hardware service contracts for LRC and special projects for other campus constituents.
–Provide leadership and vision on educational technology trends and issues across campus.
–Work with IT Department in selecting software and hardware and managing their acquisition.
–Work with faculty and staff to design multimedia classrooms and determine teaching infrastructure needs.
–Train faculty and staff on multimedia systems as needed.

community.
