MAC/RAC Research & Assessment Grant – Applications Due August 1st

MLA2013 has wrapped up and it is now time to prepare for MLA2014, which many mean a new research project or needing to expand on something that you are already presently working on. If you are looking for funding to effectively conduct your research, you may be interested in the MAC Research & Assessment Grants.

The purpose of the Research and Assessment Grant is to promote and stimulate excellence in the field of health science librarianship and the information sciences. A grant may be used to support all or part of the costs of a project, up to a maximum of $1000. MAC/MLA may award more than one grant in a year for a maximum of $1000 in any one year.

In order to be eligible for the grant you must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must hold a graduate degree in library science
  • Applicants must be practicing health science librarians
  • The applicant must be a current member of MAC/MLA

Applications are due no later than August 1, 2013, which will be here before you know it.
