MAC/RAC Research & Assessment Grant – Applications Due August 1st
Well hopefully for those of you who attended MLA 2014 came away inspired and full of ideas for potential projects or research topics. These new projects may mean launching a new research project or expanding on something you are already working on. If you are looking for funding to effectively conduct your research, you may be interested in the MAC Research & Assessment Grants.
The purpose of the Research and Assessment Grant is to promote and stimulate excellence in the field of health science librarianship and the information sciences. A grant may be used to support all or part of the costs of a project, up to a maximum of $1000. MAC/MLA may award more than one grant in a year for a maximum of $1000 in any one year.
In order to be eligible for the grant you must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must hold a graduate degree in library science
- Applicants must be practicing health science librarians
- The applicant must be a current member of MAC/MLA
