The NN/LM SE/A is offering two upcoming online courses from November 29 – December 10, 2010: “¿No Comprende?: Spanish Health Information Resources for English Speaking Librarians” and “Nursing on the Net: Healthcare Resources You Can Use.”

Both courses use Moodle, a free service that does not require software downloads or installation. Both are also completely asynchronous, meaning participants can complete class assignments whenever is most convenient, although steady participation throughout the two week time frame is recommended.

“Nursing on the Net” takes approximately 4 hours and provides 4 MLA CE contact hours. Class description is here: <http://nnlm.gov/sea/training/nursingonthenet.html>.
