REMINDER Survey on medical and health sciences librarian community and co-authorship experiences

Good afternoon,

We are conducting a research study of the medical and health sciences librarian community; we are investigating the experiences of librarians as co-authors on research, as well as challenges they may face. Many librarians within this field of librarianship are expected by their employers to participate in high-level research and the authorship of manuscripts for publication; however, the experience of librarians as co-authors is not well-known. This research study aims to fill a gap in professional understanding within medical and health sciences librarianship to learn more about librarians’ experiences when conducting research and negotiating credit for authorship.

This research study poses minimal risk and offers no personal benefit; the time commitment is minimal as the survey should be completed within a maximum of 15 minutes. The survey is completely confidential and voluntary; you may skip any question that you prefer not to answer, and you can withdraw from the survey at any time. Please click on the link below to go to the survey. Data collection will close Friday, August 6th, 2021.
